NOW that salons are open, those hilarious lockdown photos of horrific hairstyles have abated.
In their place, however, are bold, bright splashes of colour, as a bored nation decides to chop it off, mix it up and dye it all the colours of the rainbow.
Suzie McGill, International Artistic Director at Rainbow Room International, says working from home has made people feel much braver.
Celebrities such as Dua Lipa, who opted for bubblegum pink earlier in the year, Katy Perry (fizzy orange) and Lizzo (emerald green) have inspired us too.
“It’s a great time to experiment with our hair and colour and perhaps opt for something we may not have been able to wear in our corporate jobs and in the office,” smiles Suzie.
