Netflix are reportedly working on a Jimmy Savile documentary which will delve into the paedophile’s ‘friendships’ with celebrities and connections to the Royal family.
The streaming platform, known for critically-acclaimed documentaries such as Making a Murderer, are reportedly hoping the feature-length film will air in 2021.
TV entertainer Savile died in 2011 before he was exposed as one of the UK’s most prolific sex offenders and paedophiles. The film would come 10 years after his death.
Savile was well-connected in the entertainment industry and was often pictured hanging out with other famous faces.
