In the world of breakfast challenges – and it is a perfectly legitimate world – there are few that carry the same pedigree as the Dalby Cafe’s.
The Margate institution boasts a £17.50 behemoth of a breakfast that has only been bested seven times since 2010, most famously by Libertines front man and local resident Pete Doherty in 2018.
Today (September 15) it was the turn of indie band Sports Team, whose debut album Deep Down Happy narrowly missed out on the No.1 spot to Lady Gaga earlier this year.
Taking up the Thanet challenge was guitarist Henry Young, who told KentLive the experience had not been a good one.
