I had no idea how much there was to know about John Travolta. And I see that I have some catching up to do.
I had a front row seat last week for a Jeopardy-grade Travolta trivia contest. It was between serious fan Jazmine Faries and her outclassed older brother Chad, and it was taped for posterity.
Jazmine is visiting Chad for a month from her home in Michigan. She is 32 years old; she has Down syndrome; and while she is here, she is taping a series of podcasts. I was there for the one that focused on Travolta.

For six years Jazmine has been in the theatrical spotlight herself. That has been on stage, but now she is on the big screen. She is the subject and star of the documentary feature film “Iron Family” (ironfamilyfilm.com).
The movie takes its name from Iron River, the town where Jazmine lives. There once was iron in the mines beneath the city, and the theme of iron runs through the movie.
