Sir Cliff Richard finally learned how to do chores in lockdown.
The ‘Bachelor Boy’ hitmaker spent the first few months of the coronavirus pandemic at his home in Barbados and though he was “horrified” at the prospect of having to spend so much time at the abode, he eventually adjusted and even worked out how to fend for himself without anyone else around to do everyday tasks for him.
He said: “I was horrified at the idea. But I grew into it. And because of it I have learnt to clean toilets, mop and vacuum floors, make beds, work the dishwasher and the washing machine.”
One highlight for the 80-year-old star was taking part in Gary Barlow’s Crooner Sessions on social media.
He added: “I was also able to duet with Gary Barlow, so it wasn’t too bad.”
Cliff was very thankful to have the internet because it made it so easy to communicate with the people he cares about.
